Why do we need a photovoltaic system and/or a solar hot water system?
In recent years, many “smart guys” from the TV have been talking about diversifying energy supplies and switching to green energy (RES – renewable energy sources). What does it mean?! In short, diversification means that the consumer has two or more energy suppliers that are independent of each other – that is, if one stops supplying energy, then the other is reliable and continues the supply.
Realistically speaking, dear friends, diversification means that “if John gets angry with you and refuses to give you a candy, then Richard should not depend on John and will serve you.”

When talking about diversification, the entity can be one or more countries, an area, a locality, or even an individual consumer. With the construction of a solar system for electrical or thermal energy (or both) in your home, you get a real diversification of the source of this energy and always have your own independent source.
But… The “smart uncles” talked a lot about diversifying the supplies of our country and in most cases served the interests of one of the suppliers or a relevant geopolitical player (USA, Turkey, Russia, etc.) and thus we came to the blind wandering to diversify Russian gas with gas from Turkey, which, however, is also supplied from Russia! The picture is similar in the electricity sector, which has risen in price in recent years and is yet to mark new highs with the gradual liberalization of the electricity market for households. In practice, our country has become highly dependent on external forces, the reliability of which is questionable, to put it mildly.
From this follows the clear conclusion that the security of the individual energy consumer at present and in the future will depend on many contradictory and difficult to predict factors, incl. the ongoing instability in regions in close proximity to Bulgaria, the ongoing governmental and deep political crisis in our country, as well as the inevitable turbulence of all processes in our country and region in the coming years.
This forecast is completely moderate and realistic and defines the use of solar energy systems as the only option for achieving diversification and a high degree of energy security of Bulgarian households and enterprises. In practice, innovative technologies make it possible for each of us to produce our own electricity and not depend on external factors. In this way, the household or enterprise can provide itself with free electricity and heat through a one-time investment and exceptionally limited maintenance costs. Thus, you become completely independent from politics, economics, crises, price rises by guaranteeing yourself cheap and later free energy and complete independence from the crisis processes in the world today.
This is what is called energy independence and security!
And naturally, many of you will ask the logical question: What does this mean in practice?
For each user, this means:
-exceptionally low energy costs in the payback period and free energy years afterwards.
– exceptionally low costs for maintenance and maintenance of the photovoltaic system.
– complete energy independence by providing its own source of energy.
– reducing the share of energy costs in the goods and services produced by the enterprise and its share in the household budget.
– a significant increase in the competitiveness of the enterprise and the survivability of the household, including fragility and crises.
– freeing up more financial resources that can be used by the enterprise/household to solve other urgent issues.
We should also take into account the fact that due to the noticeable reduction in the price of the components for the construction of solar systems for electricity and hot water and the parallel increase in the price of electricity for all consumers, the time for repayment of the investment is effectively reduced.
De facto, to date, the payback time for an investment in a solar power plant for own electricity is between 6 and 2 years, and for a solar power plant for hot water is between 3 and 1 years. That is, from a purely economic point of view, investments in photovoltaic and solar power plants permanently occupy the niche of rapidly returning investments.
Here we would like to point out that the components we offer have the following warranty and operational periods:
Type | Warranty (years) | Operational period (years) |
Photovoltaic panels | 30 | 40-50 |
Inverters | 5-8 | 40-60 |
Solar Batteries | 12 | (minimum 6000 cycles) or an average of 15-20 years. |
Vacuum tubes for water heating | 10 | 20-35 |
Thermosiphon boiler with flow heating cycle | 8 | 15-25 |
In conclusion, let us remind you that geopolitical events around the world and the situation in our country will be determined by three key factors that will become increasingly scarce: energy, water and food. China has been implementing programs for full independence in all three directions for a decade, and the Celestial Empire is known for wisdom, foresight, long-term planning and the greatest patience….
Well, let’s help you to be among the leaders in your energy self-sufficiency and independence!
Stay up to date with the world and even step forward!!
